Manchester United and Me

Today, MANU qualified for the quarter finals of the Champions League 2010 with a convincing win over AC Milan.

I become a football addict of late. I don’t know how I become a fan of Manchester United football team. It should be the attractive players, Sir Alex, or anything. I always proudly follow the team. For the past three years, I am following each and every match of them. If I would have missed the European night involving MANU, it will be the first thing come in my mind next day when I wake up. Mostly, I don’t have time to see the match live, but always know the status of the team both in EPL and Champions league. Mostly, I had enjoyable moments with MANU winning everything in the last decade.

One of my wishes is to visit, Theatre of Dreams, at least once in my life time. I can’t imagine the day if I could make it happen. One among always full 75,000 people; chanting “Glory Glory Man United, Glory Glory Man United”, Just I could say now is “WoW”.

Until now, I can’t imagine any other person than Sir Alex as the coach. I always wonder how he is able to carry a football coaching position beyond 20 years and that too for a high profile team like MANU. It should be the small boy inside him. Still he remembers the first goal in Old Trafford with him as Manager. Still he remembers the best goal with 30 odd passes with Scholesy’s grand finish. Still he remembers the European nights. He is awesome. I like him to continue for more years. Salute Sir Alex.

The best player I watched in my period is definitely “Cristiano Ronaldo”. The players I liked more in MANU are “Rudd Van Nistelrooy”, “Ryan Giggs”, “Rooney”, “Ronaldo”, “Keane”, “Beckham” , now “Fletcher”, “Valencia” and of course everyone :-).
