Art of story telling

Recently, I have seen an all-time great movie “The usual suspects”. I am amazed with the way the story was narrated through out the feature film. It was a great job neatly done by Director and the editor.

Greatness of this movie is in the “art of story telling” (Though I have to see it again to clarify many things as mentioned by many of the reviewers in IMDB.com). Either it is a Comedy or a Suspense or a Thriller, if it is not handled correctly or if the audience start getting the story, then the whole purpose of it lost.

Some story tellers pass the above statement but many of them would at least rise the expectation that something unusual going to happen.

But the movie, “The usual suspects” pass in every criteria of story telling. It is absolute mastery of story telling by creating suspense rather than expectation.

And finally, though I am not a fan of “Kevin Spacey” for the weird characters he is doing in the films I have seen, I must agree that he is a fantastic actor who can bring all the life that the character needs.

I would highly suggest you to go for this movie and I am sure you will see it at least twice.
