A Walk To Remember

Jamie: You know what I figured out today? Landon: What? Jamie: Maybe God has a bigger plan for me than I had for myself. Like this journey never ends. Like you were sent to me because I'm sick. To help me through all this. You're my angel.

Don’t pull me back!

I feel great with people who are running together or follow me or sprinting ahead. There exists a set of people who pull me back. I am sorry for them as they get a hard kick on the spot.

I do analyzed many times whether it is an attitude problem of me. Now I feel similar to a famous quote –“I don’t have an attitude; I have a personality that they can’t handle”

Roads - A great game

Isnt it great to have the roads are renovated every five year? It should have.

But, the case in the area where I live isn't. Every five year when elections near by, all the roads were renovated beautifully. People are so happy that they have got something good. All the campaign for the ruling party is based on that the road facility is done well for the area. Everything is great for three months.

After the election, all the roads are digged for the reasons they know. Each and every road is digged. Now the stage is set for the new party to renovate it during the next election which might help their campaign.

Finally, roads are renovated evry five years and good roads are available for people only for 3-6 months.
Who have got the long term benefit? - It is obvious.

Its a great game played and in-progress!

Change : Difficult factor

How difficult is to go for a change? Heart always says, change is for better. Mind calculate lot of things to postpone the change as long as possible. It brings in fear for change, losing the current comfort and safety.
Beyond these calculations, Heart have to beat the mind.

Getting addicted to Illayaraja’s Music!!!

All my life, I am a great fan of Illayaraja’s music. Recently, I started listening his music more through the ear phones during the workout in gym. I felt like totally jumped in to a world of seventh heaven. He is the man for all moods. His mastermind is fantastic.

In “Boopalam Isaikkum”, the first stanza is full of Piano and the whole song is followed with such a soothing background of Tabala.

Drums in “Muthaaduthey Muthaaduthey” , “Paesa Koodathu”, “Santhana Kaatrae” is ecstatic.

Rhythm in “Paatu thalaivan paadinaan”, “Metti oli kaatrodu” is absolute divine.

I am mentioning these songs just because, I am not aware of his genius in these before hand. These are all just a drop of the ocean.

If songs are of one kind, his BGMs will take you to another world. His BGMs in “Aan Paavam”, “Idayathai Thirudaathey”, “Idhayam”, “En Bommukutti Ammavukku”, “Mouna Raagam”, “Anjali” are heavenly. And the list goes on…

Your lifetime will not be enough to enjoy everything of Illayaraja. Such is his vastness and such is his quality.

He is the Maestro!!!

Your Own Memory eraser!!!

Recently, saw the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". In the movie, lead actor and actress, erase their part of memory they wish.

I am not sure about if any medical technology exists for such. I wonder what if one really exists.

If it is an option given to me, I will really ignore it without any chance. It is mainly because, all the memories good or bad, it forms the passion of life. As I read in one review comment of the movie, can you erase the memory to kill the heart?

To go more hypothetical, what will you choose if anything can be erased of the whole mankind? May be I would choose religious intolerance and anything about war, equipments to kill human.

Art of story telling

Recently, I have seen an all-time great movie “The usual suspects”. I am amazed with the way the story was narrated through out the feature film. It was a great job neatly done by Director and the editor.

Greatness of this movie is in the “art of story telling” (Though I have to see it again to clarify many things as mentioned by many of the reviewers in IMDB.com). Either it is a Comedy or a Suspense or a Thriller, if it is not handled correctly or if the audience start getting the story, then the whole purpose of it lost.

Some story tellers pass the above statement but many of them would at least rise the expectation that something unusual going to happen.

But the movie, “The usual suspects” pass in every criteria of story telling. It is absolute mastery of story telling by creating suspense rather than expectation.

And finally, though I am not a fan of “Kevin Spacey” for the weird characters he is doing in the films I have seen, I must agree that he is a fantastic actor who can bring all the life that the character needs.

I would highly suggest you to go for this movie and I am sure you will see it at least twice.
